Who we are

School Proofing is operated by Joticle, Inc., a Delaware C-Corp. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our service.

What we collect

Account information (name, email, role), tenant configuration, journal entries you or your students record, attachments you upload, compliance and ESA expense data, usage telemetry, and standard server logs.

COPPA — children under 13

Students under 13 only ever access the service through a parent-managed account. We collect verifiable parental consent (COPPA-compliant) before any student account is provisioned. Parents can revoke consent and request deletion of the student's data at any time. We do not knowingly market to children under 13.

How we use information

To provide the service, classify journal entries, generate compliance and ESA documentation, communicate with you about your account, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data. We do not train external models on student-identifiable content.

Sharing

We share data with service providers under contract (Azure, SendGrid, Stripe, Twilio, Resend). We disclose data when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data by contacting us. We respond within 30 days.
